Terms of Service

These terms cover this website and any order you place through it. "Munch," "we," and "us" mean Munch, the burger shop at 1200 E 6th St in Austin, Texas. Using the site means you accept what follows. If you do not, the phone still works.

Ordering

Prices and menu items on this site are what we charge and cook today, but the kitchen sells out. If an item runs out after you order it, we call you to swap it or refund it. Nothing is reserved until we confirm the order.

Pickup orders are held for 30 minutes past the quoted time. After that the food goes cold and we cannot hold it any longer, though you are still welcome to come get it.

We take orders during opening hours: 11 am to 2 am every day, and until 3 am on Friday and Saturday. An order placed after the kitchen closes is not an order.

Delivery

We do not run our own drivers. Delivery goes through partner apps, and once your food leaves the pass, the app and its driver control what happens next: the route, the timing, and what the app charges you. Their terms govern that part, not ours. If your delivery order arrives wrong, tell us anyway and we will make it right.

Payment and refunds

Payment is due when you order. If we get your order wrong, tell us within 24 hours and we will remake it or refund it, your choice. We do not refund food you ordered correctly and then decided against, and we cannot refund an order after it has been eaten.

Chargebacks filed without contacting us first will be disputed, because a phone call fixes the problem faster.

Allergens

Our kitchen is one room. Beef, dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, sesame, and peanut oil all share it, and the same fryers cook multiple items. We cannot promise any dish is free of a given allergen, no matter what we take off it.

Tell us about an allergy before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve you safely. If your allergy is severe, we would rather you eat somewhere with a dedicated kitchen than take the risk here.

Nutrition numbers on the menu are estimates for a standard build. Ingredients and portions vary.

Gift cards

Gift cards never expire and carry no fees. They are good for food and drink at 1200 E 6th St, cannot be redeemed for cash, and we cannot replace a lost or stolen card. Treat one like the cash you paid for it.

The site itself

The words, photos, logo, and design on this site belong to Munch. Read them, share a link, screenshot the menu for a friend. Do not republish them as your own, use them to advertise something else, or run scrapers and bots against the site.

We try to keep the menu, hours, and prices current, and sometimes we are late updating them after a change. The board in the shop is the final word.

Where we stand if something goes wrong

We are responsible for the food we cook and the way we handle your information. We are not responsible for what happens on a delivery app's platform, on any site we link to, or if the site goes down and you cannot place an order.

Nothing here limits our liability for anything the law says we cannot limit, which includes injury caused by our own negligence.

Changes

We update these terms when how we work changes, and the date at the top changes with them. The terms in effect when you place an order are the terms that apply to that order.
